Chainsaw Man — Manga Summary

Chainsaw Man by Tatsuki Fujimoto follows Denji, a poor young man who survives by hunting Devils to repay his father’s enormous debt. His only companion is Pochita, a small chainsaw-like Devil.

After Denji is betrayed and killed by the yakuza, Pochita merges with him and brings him back to life as Chainsaw Man, giving Denji the ability to transform parts of his body into powerful chainsaws.

Denji is recruited by the Public Safety Devil Hunters, where he works alongside powerful and mysterious characters such as Makima, Aki Hayakawa, and Power. As he fights increasingly dangerous Devils, Denji begins searching for a better life, friendship, love, and a sense of purpose.

The series combines dark fantasy, action, horror, comedy, and emotional storytelling, exploring themes of desire, loneliness, ambition, trauma, and what it truly means to live a normal life.
